I suggest acrylic painting to develop your skills, however I do teach oils, watercolors, pastels and chalk for advanced students.

Painting classes are $50 per class. First class material, are provided. All classes after that student must bring their own supplies. Classes are by appointment only. All classes prescheduled and prepaid. Classes not cancelled 3 days in advance will not be refunded. The earlier you let us know the sooner we can let other students know of the opening.

Ages 17+ classes are 2 hours and offered Monday-Saturday 10-12,12:30-2:30 and 3-5

Age 10-16 are $40 per class, Classes are 1 1/2 hours offered Monday-Saturday 10-12, 12:30-2:30 and 3-5

Classes start with drawing your subject to canvas scale. The image is then transferred in basic line to your canvas. Your drawing is your reference to direction of light & shadow that will develop your painting. Application of paint, and techniques to capture shape, line, colors, tone and textures used in various ways to produce sensations of volume, space, movement and light on two-dimensional canvas considering subject matter, formal elements, mood and context.
